The curtain is the exact size of the window and about 10" away from the window so the very bright lights from the parking area illuminate the room. Bring a sleep mask and ear plugs. The breakfast area is really small and only has 2 tables for eating so there's no room if there are already other guests eating. All the room keys stopped working in the morning, so I made my breakfast, went back to the room juggling it all, had to come back down where the guy at the front desk told me all the room keys stopped working. Too bad he didn't tell me that when I interacted with him while I was making my bagel. Had to get a new key made and juggle my breakfast while going back up to the room a second time. Would not stay here again."

"The Inn is beautiful and located a quick two-minute drive from Susquehanna University and just at the end of the Main Street with all of the shops and restaurants. It was clean and elegant. The room was spacious and modern. The bathroom was large and full of thoughtful touches and fluffy, thick towels. The dining room was stocked with cookies, cake, and coffee throughout the day, and in the morning there was a lovely continental breakfast in a cheerful, sunny breakfast room. Will stay again when visiting my son at college. "

"Beds are clean, and the carpet is new, at least in my room. No breakfast; just pastries bar and room coffee. Average hotel coffee. There is a grill restaurant on the ground level that occupies most of the rear parking lot, so if you arrive late in the evening, there may be no parking spots left. The price should be reduced a little to match the hotel's condition, and paid a little above 100 bucks."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Niman House. The house itself was lovely, very clean, and well appointed. It had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The view of the river was beautiful and excellent for watching birds. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. The location was an easy drive to Mifflintown for groceries at Weis Market. Lewistown was also nearby with even more shopping and dining opportunities. We will definitely consider staying here again."

"The breakfast and staff were outstanding! Was a terrific stay. Only issue was with the washer and dryer, which we had to utilize. It was disgustingly, moldy, and dirty, and left stains on our clothes. It also left a weird smell and had water all over the floor. But other than that, it was lovely."
